Accessibility
The information contained on Endesaonline is now equally accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
The Endesaonline portal was programmed with the most advanced techniques and in keeping with international accessibility guidelines so anyone can use it.
Some of its more noteworthy features are:
- Clarification of the destination of links and hyperlinks.
- Content hierarchy.
- Technical aids for reading tables.
- Font size increase and decrease option for everything on the site.
- Fault-tolerant design without a style sheet.
- Accessible without Javascript.
Applied technology
- Compliance with W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) norms at the basic level (A). Accessible web content guidelines 1.0
- Presentation based on W3C recommendations on cascading style sheets level 2. (CSS2).
- Use of the recommended HTML code standard confirming transitional HTML 4.01 recommendations.

Exceptions
Although most of the content on the Endesaonline site is accessible, you may currently run into difficulty in accessing some areas of our site. These areas will be accessible in the near future:
- Online Office (including demo)
- Air-conditioning microsite
- Pdf documents dated before 20th March 2007
Tables
All the tables on the site have identifying headings and other technical aids to help you understand the information presented in them. (labelled thead, tbody, th, td, and id attributes to identify headings).
Browsers that do not support CSS, Javascript
If a user accesses the site via a browser that does not support CSS, the structural labelling system still allows all content on the site to be viewed properly.
Furthermore, you don’t need Javascript to enjoy trouble-free access to the site. And the menu system will be still be displayed and the links perfectly accessible.

The links offered on the site include a description of their destination and let you know if a new window is going to open up.
Zoom and font size selection option
This allows you to select the size of the fonts appearing on your screen so you can read them easily.
Hierarchy of information / Headings
The pages on our site are structured with headings by which the content is organised, making them easy to follow and understand.
